  • 2006–2011, aircraft maintenance. Avies Maintenance: Bombardier Learjet 60 and BAE Systems Jetstream 31/32, B1/B2. Trained where failure is not an option.
  • 2011–2016, storage. NetApp filers, SAN fabrics, data backup in a banking system. An untested backup is a rumour.
  • 2016–, university infrastructure. University of Tartu, Institute of Computer Science: IaaS, SaaS and NaaS on an academic budget.

Why own it: GDPR prefers custody. Vendors change terms. When it runs on your hardware, the terms are yours.
